Eternally grateful

To whom it may concern,

If I had not met Lise Jerome, Senior Addiction Specialist and Interventionist, during an Outpatient program I attended, I seriously doubt I would be alive today and for that, I will always be eternally grateful.

She was able, through a series of intense techniques and sessions, to break my serious denial regarding my drug addiction and destructive patterns of behavior. These patterns were not only killing my body; soul and mind, destroying my personal; financial and family life but also allowing me to spiral into depression to such an extent that suicide seemed like the only way out of what I called life.

Through the Outpatient sessions I realised my problems were more than just my chronic abuse of drugs and that I needed a long-term treatment program in order to brake the cycle of abuse and start becoming a productive member of society.

By the time I realised my life was so unmanageable and that I needed help, my financial situation was in complete disarray. I had tried to explain this to Lise, to explain that there was no way that I could afford long-term treatment. This was unacceptable to Lise, and she made every effort and called in every favor to get me the help I needed at a price I could afford.

Lise is an incredible woman, whom I have the utmost respect. She is kind, compassionate, and caring. She was able to look past all the lies and manipulation that was my life, to see that there was still some good in me and believed that with a little bit of guidance and a lot of love I would be able to turn my life around and become the person she saw with in me.

Lise, all I can say is thank you. Thank you for coming into my life when you did. If there is a God and He does watch over us, I believe you would be one of his guardian angles on earth as what you have done for me and countless others like me is regarded as miraculous.

Kindest regards and warmest wishes,
Richard Pratt
